The Summer Jazz Ambassadors is a two-week long camp thatgives middle and high schoolers a chance to play less explored genres like Funk, Salsa, and Afro-Beat. Older students have the opportunity to mentor younger students and earn community service hours as Leaders-in-Training. Learn more here.

ROYAL ROOM TABLE RESERVATIONS
The Royal Room serves food and drinks.
Table reservations are available for folks who are planning to have dinner at the show. We strongly recommend making a reservation to guarantee seats.
STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS
Students should plan to arrive promptly at 6:00PM.
Students should wear their camp t-shirt.
The Royal Room has piano and drums, so those musicians do not need to bring anything unless otherwise instructed by their teacher. Guitar players should bring their own amp if possible.
Limited free street parking is available in the residential areas near the venue but give yourself time to park and walk.
(Parking tip from a JazzED staff member: "I personally would recommend parking in the lot located on S Ferdinand Street and 39th Ave S, just one block north of Rainier Avenue. It’s an easy walk to the Royal Room from there and the is usally plenty of spots available. It’s $2 an hour to park.")
If you need to unload an instrument there are temporary spots in front of the venue.
