Jump and play to the traditions of jazz

Students will explore the core elements of music—rhythm, melody, harmony, and expression—through the lens of jazz. Through singing, movement, and hands-on instrument discovery, young musicians will learn about the rich history of artists, their iconic styles, and the cultural roots that shaped this uniquely American art form.

Activities encourage active listening and rhythmic play to help build needed skills to prepare students for future instrument learning.

ELIGIBILITY
Jazz Jumpers is open to students in Kindergarten to grade 3.

Fall Quarter:
October 4 - November 22, 2025

Weekly on Saturdays

  • 9:00-9:45 AM

  • 10:00-10:45 AM

Parent and guardian participation is limited to observation only.

TUITION

We believe that every student who wants to play should get to play. That’s why we offer a variety of tuition levels for our programming.

We encourage you to select the option that’s best for your family at this time.

  • $300 (Standard Tuition + Mutual Aid supporter)

  • $265 (Standard Tuition + Pay It Forward)

  • $200 (Standard Tuition)

  • $150 (75% of Standard Tuition)

  • $100 (50% of Standard Tuition)

  • $65 (25% of Standard Tuition)

If you’re unable to pay for tuition at any level at this time, we still want you in our classes! Please click here to request a code for our no-tuition option. No questions asked.

If you’re able to choose a level that is above standard tuition, your support will ensure:

  • Every student has access to JazzED programs, regardless of their ability to pay.

  • We can hire and retain local working musicians to teach our classes at livable wage in our community.

REGISTRATION

You will have the option of choosing your tuition on the registration check-out page. Be sure to select the payment plan option if you want to break your payments up. Please note you will also have the option of paying your chosen amount in full if you prefer  

After registering, you should receive a confirmation email from our online registration system Active.com. If you don't receive a confirmation email from Active.com, please contact us to ensure we have your registration.
