Improve your musicianship!
Build your confidence and skills in this high-energy summer music camp designed to strengthen tone, rhythmic accuracy, improvisation, and ensemble communication. Students will expand their musicianship while learning new songs with other passionate musicians and exploring creative expression in a small-group combo setting. Participants will share their learning in a culminating performance at the end of the week.
Program Details
ELIGIBILITY
Grades: rising 5th to 9th graders (as of 2026-2027 school year)
Instruments: Voice, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Upright Bass, Violin, Drums, Vibraphone. Other “non-traditional” jazz instruments are also welcome.
Required skills: Students should possess the following skills:
At least 1-2 years of experience on your instrument
Elementary improvisation experience

$900: Mutual Aid Supporter + Standard Tuition
$750: Pay It Forward + Standard Tuition
$625: Tuition Level A - Standard Tuition
$450: Tuition Level B
$300: Tuition Level C
$150: Tuition Level D
A limited number of full-tuition scholarships are available. If paying tuition is a barrier for your family right now, please email programs@seattlejazzed.org to request a code for a no-tuition option.
