JazzED Downbeat

  • Seattle JazzED 380 Boren Avenue North Seattle, WA, 98109 United States (map)

Join us for Downbeat, Seattle JazzED’s quarterly community gathering in our South Lake Union performance space.

It’s an evening to connect, hear great music, and celebrate the students and teaching artists who keep Seattle’s jazz tradition moving forward.

On March 19, we’re proud to feature Seattle JazzED’s own Jazz Lab combo, and Seattle JazzED Teaching Artist and Earshot Jazz NW Emerging Artist of the Year nominee, trombonist Audrey Stangland.

We’ll also take a moment to recognize Audrey’s Golden Ear Award nomination — a milestone that reflects the depth of talent in our local jazz community.

Whether you’re a longtime supporter, a jazz fan, or simply curious about what happens inside our space, you’re welcome here. Come learn more about our school-year and summer programs, meet members of our community, and see how our performance space can serve artists and organizations across Seattle. Together, we’ll keep building momentum toward our shared mission to make music education accessible for all.

We look forward to gathering with you.
