Introductory Ensembles Description

Start your musical future in an Introductory Ensemble. Music equips students with 21st century skills for lifelong success. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY…..IT’S FUN!

Our Introductory Ensembles are for kids who are brand new to music or have dabbled in church music, piano lessons, drumming, etc. Basically, if playing an instrument sounds like fun to you, sign up!

2016-2017 Introductory Ensemble Schedule
The Intermediate Intro Ensemble rehearses twice a week, plus extra coaching on their instrument on Fridays.

  • Intro Ensemble (Intermediate) Rehearsals:
    Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Free Friday Drop-in Clinic:
    Fridays 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Upcoming Performance: Sunday, March 26th, 5:00-6:00pm at the Royal Room (5000 Rainier Ave S)

At this time we are only accepting registrations for our Intermediate Intro Ensemble. Open to students in grades 4-8 with at least a few months experience already. If you're interested in signing your child up, please email Education Director Kelly Barr Clingan at

Students may participate with an instrument they already own or rent, but please check with Kelly Barr Clingan before you register to ensure it's an instrument that is part of our curriculum.
