VIRTUAL: Open Music Teacher Call - Info Session

  • Seattle JazzED 380 Boren Avenue North Seattle, WA, 98109 United States (map)

We love our JazzED educators. They’re all talented musicians and performers who are passionate about seeing young people succeed. Among them are composers, producers, award winners, festival headliners, full time school teachers, community activists, podcast hosts… the list goes on!

Our team is growing, and we are looking for some awesome people to join our educator squad. Join us at a quarterly informational session to learn more about Seattle JazzED and opportunities available in the 2023-24 season. After a presentation from Education Director and performer Kelly Clingan, you’ll get the chance to ask the questions that matter most to you.

At Seattle JazzED, we honor jazz as a quintessential Black American art form. Reimagining what music education can look like, we recognize the wealth of knowledge that musicians from all walks of life bring to a student’s educational journey. We are seeking educators that reflect the rich history of our community and we strongly encourage applications from people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women, LGBTQ individuals, and members of other marginalized communities.
