Girls Jazz Day 2016 is going to be awesome.
Join us for one day, 100% dedicated to girls who play jazz. You'll learn new songs in an all-girl band with an awesome female band director. Then our guest artist, famed NYC drummer Allison Miller, will share her knowledge of jazz and the industry with you, along with tips and tricks for improving your musicianship. The day will end with a fun group mini-concert for your friends and family (and cake!). The vibe will be friendly, supportive and safe for taking musical risks. Don't miss it!
Open to female and female-identified student musicians in grades 6-12.
